The New Version of the Chrome Extension Will Allow You to Switch to a Tab That is Making Sound
This free and open-source extension will allow you to switch to a tab with audio by clicking on the extension icon. It works in the background, so it can monitor audio events and keep tabs in the background.
It will also allow you to mute an entire tab and also to control the audio volume of the entire tab. If there are no audio events in the tab, the extension will do nothing.
The audio events will be delivered to the right tab, so if there are multiple audible tabs, it will cycle through them.
It is also possible to control the order in which the tabs will be visited.
